Los Angeles or New York City would be good for you. I imagine Hong Kong would work too.

I am apartment hunting & found a place I really like. However, the rent is about $200 more than what I like to pay for an apartment. How would I go about negotiating with the landlord to lower the rent?

In Los Angeles, how much would it cost to rent a small (about 1000 sq ft) space in a mall, to start a restaurant? Like if a cafe in a mall went outta business, how much would it cost to rent their old space? In decent condition?

Please dont lecture about the economy or how most restaurants fail!
