This is a strange question but my fiance and I are getting an apartment together…. Problem is, we’re getting it in his hometown. I wont be able to be there until 2 months. He needs an apartment now. We plan to sign the lease together. Do you have to sign an apartment lease in person or can they send you the applications in the mail?

I’d like to move out of this apartment that I’ve been in for the past two months by the end of October and I’m aware I’ll have to pay a penalty, but do I have to give 30 day notice or just pay the lease break penalty and move out by the end of this month? I’m in AZ

I stay in an apartment in MS. My lease is going to be up next month. I don’t want to renew my lease because I may move in about 3 more months. Do I have to renew my lease to continue to stay in my apartment or can I just pay from month to month? Also since I signed my lease the rent at my apartments went up. Will I now have to pay the new higher rent payment?

I have just signed a renewal lease that raises my rent by 3%.
My landlord also wants that extra 3% tacked onto the deposit, which I had paid several years ago after moving in. Do you have to also up the price on your deposit? It sounds fishy to me.

our lease is up on the second of september and we’ve decided to move to another apartment. Our lease says that we need to give a 30 day notice when we decide to move out, but we’re planning on moving out the same day our lease is up, so does that mean we are no longer responcible for not giving a 30 day notice?
can the management withhold our security deposit?
please if you can give a site or something where i can show him proof, not just speculation.
