The house I rent is being foreclosed on and will be auctioned soon. How long before they can make me move?

Basically the house I rent is being foreclosed on and will be sold at auction on August 11. Is there an amount of time that the new owners are legally required to allow me to move out after the house has been purchased? I literally just found out and am in no way prepared. I live in California.
Oh, my lease is month-to-month, by the way.

My lease has a clause for 30 day notice to cancel the agreement. My landlord gave me verbal notice and is trying to make me leave within twenty days, because he signed a lease with a new tenant that is to start before the end of my 30 days. This is in the state of Utah.

I signed a lease for August and it’s February now. I decided to live at another place instead and was wondering if i could break the lease without being held accountable for the entire 1 year amount. I am a college student so I do not know much about this stuff. I had a 325$ security deposit. I called them and I said my only option was to find someone to live there for me like a sublet kind of thing.

I recently graduated from college with the intention of staying an extra semester for grad school. Things change of course and I decided to move out. I made an agreement with my roommate that was sharing the apartment that I pay 2 months and he cover the rest of the lease for the semester I was absent. Should I have just told the apartment owners I was moving out and made him the complete renter so I didn’t have to pay the two months?
The contract states that if you move out before the contract ends, at owner’s will, you would have to pay the rest of the months on the lease. What I was worried about is if I told them they would make me pay the rest of the months. My roommate had a few options such as a subletter, commuting for his one class, or moving to his own apt, but would not comply and would tell the owners about a breach of contract if I subletted someone else. Do you think I overall made the safest and best decision?

Can You Break An Apartment Lease Before The Start Date?

I’ve sign a 7 month lease into an apartment complex, and Yesterday I got transfered from work out of the country, the lease has not started it is due on the 17th of this month, but I haven’t received the keys or anything. . . The thing is that I already signed like two months ago. Thanks a lot for your help!

Can You Cancel A Lease Before The Start Date?

My boyfriend just signed a new 6 month lease that begins on the 1st. We just decided to move in together but want a 2 bedroom apartment instead of a 1 bedroom. My boyfriend would like to change to month to month with his apartment until we can find another apartment. Can we get out of the new lease if he notifies the manager he wants to go month to month before the start date of the new lease? Do you know where I can find any information about this type of situation? The only information I can find is about breaking leases in the middle of the terms of the lease. Thank you for your help.
