Can You Break An Apartment Lease If Your Roommate Moves Out?
Hello. I’m from Ohio and I need to know if I can break an apartment lease and move out if my “secondary signer” decides to move out and get his own place?

no, it just means you are last man standing and will most likely take the hit the hardesst if you default.
Nope and if you can not afford the place on your own, you will need to find a second “approved” signer. If the original second signer put money towards the deposit, he forfits it all to you by moving out early (if you finish the lease) If you are forced to move because you can not find a way to pay the full amount due each month, you can be held liable for the remaining months (go after him for this amount so your not holding the note alone) and loose the deposit.
Good luck
No. If you are both on the lease then you are both responsible. You can’t get out of the lease.
I don’t think so, but you might want to speak with your apartment manager about your options.
