Can I Break My Apartment Lease In Ohio If I Am Buying A Home?
My husband and I are currently renting an apartment and recently went under contract to buy our first home. Can we break our lease without penalty because we are buying a home?

No way, you willbe responsible for both your lease and your mortgage…good luck
L C, Before you would have got into the contract am sure you would have known the consequences of not completing the tenure for the apartment. But am sure if you could find a loophole in the contract you’ll be saving money.
Take a look at the link. There are some info that would help you further.
Of course not. Buying a house is not a valid reason to early terminate a lease contract, unless such is actually provided for in the lease itself.
If you were planning to buy a house, you should NOT have signed a long term lease.
No, you are stuck with the terms of the lease. Go to the Land Lord and ask if they will let you terminate the lease early if you find a suitable renter. If they will, run an ad in the paper and start showing the apt.
NO! Buying a house is NOT grounds to break your lease. If you leave you will have to pay what ever your lease states to break it.
NO, a lease is a contract.
