Can An Individual Sign More Than One Apartment Lease During The Same Year?
I have to renew my lease in June and my sister desperately wants me to help her get an apartment by May. In order to do so I will have to be a co-applicant on her lease. Will I still be able to renew my lease if I do so?

You can rent a million places during the same period if that suits you. However, do understand that if your sister violates the lease, you too are held to all those terms. This of course could mean double rent payments at some point. This is the only true risk here: If your sister were to default.
Yes, you can have your own lease and co-sign on another. Just be aware that you are legally liable for the rent payments on both! If you default on either, it will ruin your credit and cost you a bundle.
If the landlord checks your credit and your credit will support an additional lease, sure. It’s not illegal or anything. Do you really want to be responsible for another rent if your sister doesn’t pay? Also realize that it will increase your debt to income ratio and might prevent you from getting additional credit if you need it.
Celebrities live in how many places? Of course you can have multiple leases. Just make sure your sis doesn’t screw you over. If she misses a payment it’s on you more than it is her.
